Dialectics (2004)
Series developed in a cycle of four exhibitions about freedom. Pictures of differing
styles (street snapshots and staged photographs) are combined and superimposed
to form structures that are not entirely harmonic and show the struggle between the
images for predominance. Is it possible to find new ways of reading that go beyond
narrative logic and its hierarchies? Or beyond pure formal experimentation? Double,
triple, and geometric gazes that search to rethink the ways of working together among
persons and images.
